Neil Tissington is Director for Survey at Central Alliance and oversees all related operations which deliver topographical and underground utility mapping survey activities across the business.

With over 28 years’ experience in the survey industry, Neil started work as an assistant land surveyor back in 1997, progressing through numerous grades before holding Senior Surveyor and Project Manager roles for 10 years, prior to joining Central Alliance in 2014 and helping to establish the survey team.

He has extensive experience in managing and delivering survey projects across a variety of sectors, although predominantly including rail, highways, utilities infrastructure and environmental schemes.

Neil has managed the National Highways TST (Technical Surveys and Testing) North West region contract since 2021, which sees Central Alliance deliver topographical surveys and associated works on behalf of RSK, in collaboration with other RSK business units and National Highways stakeholders.

Outside of work, Neil enjoys keeping fit (or trying to), family days out and socialising with friends.
