OUR PEOPLE

Our people are what makes us a successful business today, and will support our success in the future.

We seek to attract, develop and retain top talent, through our commitment to living out our Core Values in everyday business. We are passionate about developing, supporting and maintaining a happy and healthy workplace culture, and nurturing an inclusive and diverse workforce, that prioritises the wellbeing and fair treatment of all employees.

Our People and Culture Strategy

We know that people work best and deliver their best when working with clarity, the right resources and within a supportive environment. We support our people to work ‘in flow’, with autonomy and flexibility, that suits both their needs and the needs of the business.

With this in mind, our People and Culture Strategy focuses on:

Providing Clarity

Our Role Descriptions provide employees with context and purpose of their role. This enables them to understand how their contributions support the delivery of both their departmental work plans and those of the wider business.

Our Role Descriptions also set out clear accountabilities and measurable deliverables, which are used to assess employee performance over the year. This ensures that we are all working towards the common goal of delivering our 2030 strategy, aligned to our Core Values.

Ensuring the Right People are Delivering the Right Work, at the Right Time

Right People

This commences at the advertising and hiring stage – our processes are inclusive and transparent, in terms of what we are looking for and what we offer, along with how we interview and select the ‘right person’ for the role.

We also have a transparent and equitable organisational structure, with clear and easy to understand reporting lines, role titles, salary banding and stratums.

Right Work

Our Role Descriptions ensure that our employees are delivering the right work to support the delivery of the business plan. The Role Descriptions also ensure that relevant training is assigned to staff, to develop them and to ensure the best service is delivered to our clients.

Right Time

Delivery of work needs to happen when it is needed, to ensure delivery of a quality product and service to our clients and to ensure internal efficiencies are maintained. This is managed, in part, via our employee performance process, which involves regular touch points throughout the year between Line Managers and employees, with a focus being on timing and quality of deliverables.

Building and Maintaining a Talented Workforce

Building and maintaining a talented workforce is achieved through robust, inclusive and unbiased processes, with employee experience, development and wellbeing front and centre. We focus on three main areas:

  • Attracting and Hiring talent
  • Developing talent
  • Retaining talent
Supporting a Healthy and Inclusive Culture

Our Core Values, developed by our employees are used to guide everyday business. The Core Values support with:

  • Fostering a cohesive company culture, enhancing employee engagement and creating a healthy work environment.
  • Positively influencing individual behaviours, decision-making, collaboration, and the maintenance of professional relationships.
  • Guide beliefs and attitudes, ensuring that employees align their actions with organisation’s fundamental principles.

In October 2025, a global employee engagement survey was conducted, to provide RSK and individual business units with insights on employee engagement and culture. The results are encouraging, with an overwhelming number of our employees describing Central Alliance’s culture as friendly, respectful and supportive with flexible working arrangements that support employee wellbeing.

The results from the survey are helping to further shape our People and Culture journey, ensuring we keep delivering on and celebrating what we are doing well, and focusing our attention on where employees feel we can improve. The survey will be repeated annually, to enable us to measure the impact of the work we are undertaking in the people and culture space.

  • Accessibility Network
  • Armed Forces Network
  • Neurodiversity Network
  • PRIDE Network
